After many years in the life insurance industry, I discovered the world of funeral pre-planning in 2016—and it completely changed my understanding of what true peace of mind looks like.

I saw firsthand that most families don’t know the difference between life insurance and pre-planning their final wishes. I also learned how much veteran families still have to pay out-of-pocket, since the VA covers cemetery benefits but does not pay for funeral services. Witnessing the stress, confusion, and financial burden families face in their most painful moments made this work deeply personal for me.

Pre-planning isn’t just about paperwork—it's a gift of love. It allows families to celebrate a life instead of being overwhelmed by decisions and expenses. That realization inspired me to dedicate myself to educating communities and ensuring they understand the value of planning ahead.
